Reviews and Ratings
I couldn't have asked for a better location for my stay, right in Castletown and ideal for catching the early ferry to Orkney. The room was cozy and had all the essentials, but a bit stuffy due to the difficulty in adjusting the heated towel rail. The friendly service made me feel so welcomed, even though I could sense some dissatisfaction about the room rates. The dining experience was decent with a buffet offering a wide selection of dishes to choose from. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor inconveniences.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were a little old and dingy, but they were warm, clean, and tidy thanks to the hard work of the cleaning staff. The breakfast was fantastic, and the dinners were simply top-notch. However, being located on the junction of a busy road was a downside.
I couldn't have asked for a better spot to stay. The hotel is literally on the entrance, but surprisingly very noisy. The room was incredibly comfortable, although a bit small, it was well laid out. Being at the top of the stairs was ideal for me.
The hotel room was very comfortable and of high standard, perfect for us and our dog, although it was obviously used by couples with dogs before. The location was great for what we needed, although we could hear people walking past at night. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who quickly attended to our needs, even moving us to a quieter room upon request. The dining experience was a bit of a letdown due to limited staff and food not being promptly replaced. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service and some minor inconveniences.
I arrived after a long journey from Manchester and was delighted to be able to check in at 14:00. The room was spotlessly clean with robes and toiletries provided, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The adjacent pub added to the overall experience. However, there was a faint smokey smell coming from outside the bathroom during the evening and the next morning.
